Kirkus Reviews, starred review on A River of Words
"With plain words, appropriate to the style of this master of clear and precisely worded poetry, and brilliant images, Bryant and Sweet introduce Williams and his poetry in a fresh, accessible way. . . . It is entirely possible that this offering will not only acquaint readers with the man and his poetry but will also inspire creativity — Williams would no doubt be pleased." book description
Bulletin of the Center for Children’s Books on Alice’s Birthday Pig
"Elementary-grade students, especially those with obstreperous sibs of their own, will undoubtedly relate to Alice’s difficulties and desires, and adults looking for a great little read-aloud will find this a perfect choice. Recommended." book description
School Library Journal on Heart In the Pocket
"The gentle, well-crafted text is sweet, but not overly so. The watercolor illustrations have a soft palette dominated by yellowish tans and light blues, and expressively portray a wise and loving mother with ehr shy, slightly fearful child." book description
A Fuse #8 Production on Garmann’s Summer
"Like nothing you’ve ever read before, this is the very definition of a beautiful children’s picture book. Highly recommended." more reviews
